Two family-run coin shops, one Kansas City-area dealer built on trust.
Raines Rare Coins exists because collecting should feel like a conversation across a counter, not a transaction on a screen. We help first-time buyers and lifelong numismatists alike buy, sell, and protect their holdings with total confidence.
That means live spot-based pricing, in-house grading expertise, and the same buyback promise on everything we sell — because a fair deal today is what brings a collector back tomorrow.
Integrity First
Every coin we grade, every offer we make is one we would accept ourselves. No
games, no fine print.
Fair, Transparent Pricing
Offers anchored to live spot prices with premiums shown up front — whether you
are buying or selling.
Family Service
A family-run business since day one. You deal with owners, not clerks, on every
visit.
Local Roots
Two Kansas City-area showrooms and a promise to keep expert numismatics close to
home.
Raines Rare Coins LLC. is proud to announce the purchase of Americana Collectors in Independence, Missouri. After an incredible 46 years of dedicated service in helping collectors build their treasured collections, Lee Toner is retiring from the world of numismatics.
The Raines Family is eagerly looking forward to serving you in the future as Americana Collectors. They will operate from Independence, Missouri, in addition to their existing location in Raymore, Missouri. Rest assured, their goal is to maintain the high level of customer satisfaction that Lee has built over the years, while also offering you the best possible pricing in Kansas City.
